Soon enough thousands of women began sharing their own photos of their stretch marks.
These women are standing up against the stigma of having stretch marks. They user #LoveYourLines on Instagram.
I started in August 2014, but Teigen’s recent photo helped boost the project’s message of self-love.
Through this project, women are trying to get the message out that stretch marks are not something to be ashamed of anymore.
Oftentimes, they’re symbols of motherhood.
Even if you weren’t pregnant, stretch marks simply mean you’ve gotten bigger or smaller at some point.
However these women got their stretch marks…
There’s simply no reason to be ashamed and cover them up.
It doesn’t matter what your age, size, height, or weight is, because you’re beautiful just the way you are.
This pretty much sums it all up.
